Pies on Parade 2025 Returns to Midcoast Maine for Pi Day Weekend – March 14-16, 2025


Get ready to indulge in the ultimate pie-tasting experience as Pies on Parade 2025 makes its long-awaited return to Midcoast Maine! After a hiatus due to the pandemic, this beloved community-wide event is back to celebrate Pi Day weekendfrom March 14-16, 2025, supporting the AIO Food and Energy Assistance Program, which provides essential aid to Knox County residents.




A Sweet Tradition Returns

Originally running successfully for 16 years, Pies on Parade is now being reintroduced in partnership with Rockland’s LimeRock Inn and Camden’s Blue Harbor House Inn, in honor of AIO’s 35th anniversary. This event offers attendees a chance to sample both sweet and savory pies at various stops throughout Camden, Rockport, Rockland, and Thomaston—all while contributing to a great cause.


Event Schedule

  • Friday, March 14: Kick off the weekend with a screening of The Life of Pi at The Strand Theatre in Rockland. (Movie tickets sold separately.)

  • Saturday, March 15: Pie sampling in Camden & Rockport from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

  • Sunday, March 16: Pie sampling in Rockland & Thomaston from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM.


Ticket Information

  • One-Day Ticket (Saturday or Sunday): $20

  • Weekend Ticket (Saturday & Sunday): $35

  • Friday Night Movie Ticket: Sold separately


Tickets grant access to dozens of local businesses offering unique pie flavors, from traditional favorites to creative new recipes. Ticket holders will receive a printed map indicating all participating locations.

A map with over 50 confirmed pie stops, attendees can enjoy a wide variety of pies including :


  • Savory Galettes – 16 Bay View Hotel

  • Brodis Wild Blueberry Pie – Barren’s Distillery & Restaurant

  • Brownie Pie a la Mode – Blue Harbor House Inn

  • Apple Hand Pies – Hideaway Inn

  • Chocolate Fudge Pie – Quarry Hill

  • Chicken Pot Pie Bites – Villager Cafe

  • Vegan & Gluten-Free Blueberry Crumble – Zoot Coffee

…and many more delicious offerings from local inns, restaurants, cafés, and bakeries.
