Every Saturday at noon, weather and ice conditions permitting, West Cove comes alive with the thrill of ice racing. Ice racing on Moosehead Lake features modified vehicles speeding around a specially designed track carved into the frozen lake. Spectators and participants gather each Saturday for heart-pounding action, followed by social gatherings at Woody’s Bar and Grill, where racers and fans swap stories, claim bragging rights, and reconnect with the vibrant community.
