Gear Up for the 2nd Annual Oquossoc 150 Race Weekend by New England Xcountry Racing!

The 2nd Annual Oquossoc 150 Race is back on February 8-9, 2025, and it’s shaping up to be bigger and better than ever! Set against the scenic backdrop of Bald Mountain Camps Resort in Oquossoc, Maine, this high-octane snowmobile racing event promises thrilling competition, community spirit, and unforgettable winter fun. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a spectator seeking excitement, the Oquossoc 150 offers something for everyone. With competitive race categories, family-friendly activities, and opportunities for local businesses to get involved, it’s a must-attend winter event.


The Course & Conditions

The Oquossoc 150 race takes place on a 10-mile course, which racers will complete multiple times, with two mandatory fuel stops along the way. The challenging and dynamic route tests the endurance and skill of the best snowmobilers in the region. Spectators can enjoy great viewing spots to cheer on competitors as they navigate this thrilling course.

As always, race organizers are prepared to make any necessary adjustments to ensure the best experience for both racers and spectators, depending on weather conditions.


Race Categories & Schedule

Racers can choose from several exciting categories:

  • Trail Pro 850cc (50 miles): No Pro or Semi-Pro racers allowed.

  • Female/Male Team Race 650cc (50 miles): A unique team race where both sleds must start and finish together.

  • Oquossoc 150 (650cc, 150 miles): The main event! Racers will tackle the 150-mile course with two mandatory fuel stops.

  • Kids 120cc & 200cc: Young racers will have their moment in the spotlight with races designed just for them.

    • Registration: 6:00 – 8:30 AM, Saturday & Sunday, February 8 & 9

    • Races begin: 9:00 AM, Saturday, February 8

    • Oquossoc 150 Main Race: 9:00 AM, Sunday, February 9

  • Where: Bald Mountain Camps Resort, 125 Bald Mountain Rd, Oquossoc, Maine

  • Registration: On-site from 6:00 to 8:30 AM each day

Local businesses have an incredible opportunity to support and benefit from this premier winter event. Sponsorship dollars or merchandise donations go directly to race payouts for top finishers. Sponsors can even have their name attached to the prestigious Oquossoc 150 race itself.
