What is an Ice Carousel?

An ice carousel is a massive circular section of ice cut and gently spun on a body of water. With precise engineering and creativity, NMIB will carve a 207-foot-wide spinning ice carousel, marking the first time such a feat will connect two countries across an international border. This ambitious project brings together cutting-edge techniques and a love for winter fun, showcasing the region’s spirit of ingenuity.
