Get ready for one of Saddleback Mountain’s most beloved traditions – the Annual Cardboard Box Race 2025! This highly anticipated family-friendly event brings together creativity, laughter, and competition as teams build snow-sliding vessels using nothing but cardboard, duct tape, paint, and decorations.
2025 Theme: ROAR! DINOSAURS! 🦖
This year’s theme is ROAR! DINOSAURS! – so channel your inner paleontologist, dig up some prehistoric inspiration, and design a fearsome, Jurassic-themed racing machine! From towering T-Rexes to speedy Velociraptors, the possibilities are endless!
Event Schedule
🎧 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM – DJ Eric spins tunes on the deck
🏁 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – READY, SET, RACE! – Watch as teams slide down Wheeler Slope in their creative cardboard contraptions!
How to Participate
✅ Free Entry! No cost to race, but online registration and a signed waiver are required.
✅ Helmet Required – Safety first! All racers must wear a helmet.
✅ Team Up & Build – Use only cardboard, duct tape, paint, and decorations to construct your snow vessel
.✅ Prizes for the Most Creative On-Theme Design – Impress the judges with your dino-mite creativity!
